The restoration Project "NEW HOME 2017"

We planned the renovation as a live-able environment. Considering my age, the place must be barrier free and with clever house technic incorporated. The facility must be self-sustaining (Electricity), Water Distribution Water treatment, water tank, pumps...Sewerage Disposal-> Soak Away, All 3 bedrooms need a WC / Shower facility. All rooms need Air Conditioned. All windows are fix (5mm glass), iron security doors are a must. Most installation material, was over time, sourced over the internet (amzon and others). Furniture, Laminates, Household Machines, ... where also bought over the internet, mainly from Germany. The material was sent to Wegmüller AG, Attikon and finally packed into a bought 20' container and shipped in 2015 to Tema / Accra.
The empty container was furnished to serve as quarter for a household help. We installed an uninterruptible power supply: from the Grid, the Solar Installation or the 25Kw Diesel Generator, all controlled by a Hybrid Inverter. There is no sewage water system so all has to be done with a Soak-Away (drainage well). Water is coming from the Water Work into a 75'000l tank and is than, after filtering, distributed by 2 pumps.
