"Biremöschtler" 2006 Tour de Birmendorf by Arthur Rebsamen

This time we met in Birmensdorf at the Restaurant "Sonne" and set out for a tour around the village. The bad news, the village is situated at a low point and from there it's all uphill. Of course that what they like but I'm not very fit and I struggled along and soon lost contact to the pack. Suffering alone was not much fun and I decided to return to base. This proved to be longer than excepted, because I underestimated the stretch already covered, downhill and on the flat. By car, I rushed to the "Besenbeiz zum Kuhstall", where we had lunch. After a short rest, all set out to finish the tour at the Restaurant "Sonne" in Birmensdorf. I did the same by car and relished some nice cold beers before all arrived and did the same. At the end we had our dinner where the organizers of the 2007 tour was appointed. Next time the young generation will stage the event!

On Sunday we took the train (some of course trekked on the Uetliberg and we had a lunch and some drinks at the "UTO Staffel". This was a family event and also the youngsters could join.
