The journey via the San Bernadino went smooth until Milan. There we faced traffic jams till Parma. In Livorno we found the "Hotel Touring" after some struggling.
The "TomTom" got confused. Next morning on to the ferry to Bastia. The road from Bastia to Ajaccio was winding and went over some mountain passes. Than to Serra di Ferro the
road was narrow with one turn after another. Jeff got Vertigo and motion sick!.
The Residence Alba Rosso proved to be quite good with a nice view over the Bay of Porto Pollo. Everyday we went for an excursion through the mountainous terrain.
Bonifacio, Porto Veccio, Ghisoni, Bastelica, where some destinations.
A good driving exercise! Honestly, I was not prepared to see snow covered peaks and the Island is rightly named
as the one with 100'000 bends! Unfortunately it was still too cold for the beaches, They promised however to be inviting in summer time!
