Kuala Lumpur, Petronas Towers
KOREA, INDONESIA, VIETNAM
April 2011
From Dubai I flew for the first time the
Airbus A380. Same food, same lack of leg space and not enough toilets. Nothing new really! Stayed a week in
Korea and
than proceeded to
Indonesia for a 3 weeks visit. A lot of heavy rain. However as always,
"The Agansa Boys" (Ryanto, Pryanto, ... names!) took good care of me.
From
Jakarta I flew on to
Ho Chi Ming City to attend the
Saigontex and made some customer visits with
Freddy Wu.
PHILLIPINES & MALAYSIA
a successful survey 21.-28.05.2011
Raul Manapat requested me to visit a major customer near
Manila and I decided to include Malaysia to visit some customers with
Mr. Tan. As always the time frame of one week was
a bit ambiguous and Sight-Seeing fell definitely short! Otherwise it was worth while and the next time I will take it easier! Luckily on the way home,
Emirate Airways got a seat directly from
Kuala Lumpur to
Dubai.
hat saved me a trip back to Manila. On the other hand a had a stay of 8 hour at Dubai airport to catch my flight to Zürich. That's time for many beers at the Irish Pub!
INDONESIA & VIETNAM
30.08. - 20.12.2011
SlideShow: Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipines, Vietnam & Japan, 2011
After ITMA 2011 in
Barcelona, there where 2 further trips for 2011 on the agenda:
1.
Indonesia and Vietnam (3 weeks)
2.
Korea, Japan, Philippines and Malaysia (4 weeks)
Both passed without any incident only my old
knee & leg problems (Arthritis) troubled me for the last 2 weeks. An extended tour of
PT APAC INTI CORPORA (APACINTI) almost "killed" me.
A Cortison injection, when back home, fixed it for the time being!
I'm aware that that is not much of a Report. I promise to do better again in 2012! At least I made some pictures. It seems I am too busy running around, neglecting my website!
Maybe one day I find time to add some comments!
Let's give it a try:
Starting in Indonesia, than flew to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City / Vietnam) where I spent some time with
Freddy Wu (SaigonTex).
On to
Seoul (Korea), visiting with
Benjamin Paik the Starbuck, having some
Cafe Machiatta. Customers visits and Business Lunches mainly sitting on the wooden floor, getting
down like a sac of cement and coming up like an Old Hippo.
From Korea I flew to
Fukuoka where I met
Walter Kiechl, my boss. We visited customers on
Kyushu Island and
Shikoku Island
with
Justin. We proceeded to
Osaka, Japan where Walter went home
I flew to
Manila than
Kuala Lumpur and as last station
Jakarta. Via
Muskat I got back home!
